AWAY

.... And away We went.
Away, to mountains, valleys ad deserts.

Looking for.
For the fountain of eternal youth.
For wisdom, the forgotten knowledge,
forbidden to men, mortal.

Away,
and away We went.

DRUM, DRUM

Drum, drum, drum!
The drops,
the water drops,
hit the land.

Although the sky is clear;
the breeze soft.

Drum, drum, drum!
wet smells,
sweet, are inhaled.
All from the forest soil.

IN THE HUSHE VALLEY

Isolated.

Nothing except the mountains,
The wild roses, the high rocks.
The smell of the pine-trees,
the song of the river.
But you.

Yet, so remote.

HOW CAN THIS BE

How can, a place like this?
How can it be?
The marshes in the valley;
Wet land among the forest,
Between giants.
Trees,
Killing, and being killed.
Buzzling,
thousands, millions. Insets everywhere.
Sudden rain,
pouring.
Glorious Sun.
Ablaze on the sky.
And Fog: the mist and the mistery.
Secrets behind multiple walls.
So much charm
So frightening.
… Magic,
Surrounding everything

RUWENZORI

Africa´s heartland. At its best.
A continent, a center.
The Dream, the reality.

Africa.
The myth, at least for some.
The white men.

The heart,
Ruwenzori.

GREEN, GREEN

Green, green.
Come back to me,
At last.

Primaeval green,
True forest.
From before we came.
Before we all did.
To the root, to reality.

Green, at last.

STRANGE LAND

Strange land
this one of Pakistan.
Of strong rivers and beautiful people.

A barren, a lusty land;
A dirty, golden river.

The colors of the women,
the laugh and the eyes of the kids.

The men's odour,
neither sex, nor sweat.
Both, in a powerful elixir.

Strange land,
where men hold hands.
Where things are clear,
and are not.
Where handsome boys stare
and look back.
Where they hold hands
and I cannot.
